It has only been a year since I started my book. Wow, seems like I've been working on it much longer than that. I have taken entirely too much time away from it so I will be returning my attentions to my story again and will post a few excerpts on occasion for your reading pleasure. Stay tuned...

It's a new year so I thought I would share my goals for the year. They are simple really-finish polishing my novel, get a beta reader, write a query letter and send it to agents who have an interest in the fantasy genre. Okay, all of that is simple except the query letter part. How do you summarize 70,000 words into just a few short paragraphs that will interest an agent? I have a lot of research to do.
